Meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00PM in the church conference room.

Some of the projects of the Deer Park Church UMW are:
- Provide a Bake Sale Table for various church events
- Prepare and provide lunch for sale at the Annual Christmas Bazaar
- On request, funeral lunches are prepared and served in the church Fellowship Hal
- Support charitable organizations in the county
Deer Park Sisterhood
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, oh Lord, my Strength, and my Redeemer. Amen.”
The Sisterhood welcomes all women who wish to join in Christian fellowship and participate in charitable projects benefiting our local community. Open to all women of the church – but membership or attendance at Deer Park UMC is not required!
We have done a lot of community projects this year (2022) and are always looking for projects for the coming year.

Dinner meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month and rotate among 3 or 4 restaurants in the local area. Everyone pays for their own dinner. The next meeting location/restaurant is announced at the end of each meeting and posted on our calendar.
Meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6pm: Supper in the Conference Room at Deer Park Church
Men’s Group
“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man shapeneth the countenance of his friend”
Our Men’s Group wants to meet the needs of Christian men for fellowship, service and devotion through the Gospel, God’s transforming and vital force for men, the church and the community.
♦ Annual dinner financed by the men to benefit our Vacation Bible School
♦ Helping church members with chores as needs arise
Creative Ministries
make a joyful noise to the lord – Psalms 100:1
Chancel Choir – Sings at traditional 11:00am service, ranging from traditional to contemporary music. Ages range from teens to senior citizens. Choir sings from September to May and only on special occasions during the summer months. Choir Practice is Wednesdays from 7 – 8:30pm. All are welcome to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Interested in providing special music, see Keenan Hudson or Lanie Lilly.
Praise and Play Drama Group – A fun creative group that provide periodic performances during the church services for a different delivery of the good word. Meets as needed for planning and rehearsals. We praise the Lord with skits, both humorous and serious. No experience necessary! For more information or to join contact Joy Grimm.
Seekers – A Study Group for Adults

Seekers Class – Starting back from Winter break on January 7th @ 9:45, every Sunday in the conference room. All are welcome, any morning!
