UNITED METHODIST WOMEN NOVEMBER PROJECT – Collecting items for the Boys and Girls Club of Westminster. The ages range
from Elementary to Middle School. Suggested Donations: Individually wrapped snacks: cookies, brownies, mini muffins, chips, pretzels, cheezits & fruit snacks. Individual drinks: Juice Boxes, Kool Aid, Capri Sun. Other items: coloring books, sticker books, crayons, colored pencils, card games, regular games, jigsaw puzzles (150 pieces or less). Your participation is appreciated & thank you for your generosity.
HURRICANES HELENE/MILTON – UMCOR is working with
response teams to provide relief to the many victims.

BAZAAR FLYERS: CAN YOU HELP? – Our Christmas Bazaar,
a church-wide event, is just a few weeks away. There are flyers (large & small) on the narthex table, waiting for YOU to help spread the word, by taking them to local stores, eateries, libraries, etc. to be posted as allowed. The smaller ones are great for handouts too. Many thanks!
BAZAAR – WHAT CAN YOU DO? – Our annual Christmas Bazaar
is Saturday, December 7! It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year as well as an outreach to the community. To succeed, we need EVERYONE involved. See flyer in the narthex for ways you can help. All hands & hearts together make light work.

NEARLY NEW – Do you have household items that you no longer need or want? How about donating them to the Nearly New Room.

ADVENT STUDY– Sunday, November 24, the Seekers adult Sunday school class begins a 4-week video-based Advent study, “Prepare the Way for the Lord” by Adam Hamilton. We meet in the conference room at 9:45am. All are welcome, any Sunday. Contact: Joy Grimm
THANKSGIVING SERVICE – Tuesday, November 26 @ 7:00PM at Sandy Mount UMC. Hopefully, this allows the cooks & those who travel on Thanksgiving Eve, to worship together. Please bring non-perishable items to be donated to Carroll County Food Sunday.

BUILDING USAGE – Regina Caeli Academy resumes operation with its students in our building beginning 8/19. They use the Sunday school classrooms, nursery, library, parlor, choir room, conference room & the overflow room, these rooms are reserved for their use on Mondays & Thursdays. All persons entering the church on those days need to check in with the office. Information about Regina Caeli can be found @ https://www.rcahybrid.org. Ongoing Efforts
COFFEE & CHAT – Sign-up sheet on the door to the communion room, to supply some goodies. It does not need to be elaborate,
just something simple. This is a great fellowship ministry.
Reminder – if you sign up to make coffee, please designate someone to clean up and to make sure coffee pots are unplugged. Thanks!
BRING YOUR CAN TO CHURCH – Or box or plastic jar-of food! Let’s keep the grocery cart full with our donations for Carroll County Food Sunday by bringing at least one non-perishable item every Sunday. The CCFS Wish List includes: Peanut Butter; Jelly; Hot & Cold Cereal; Canned Soup (non-tomato preferred); Beans (red & black); Pancake Mix; Pancake Syrup. Thanks to all for reaching out to our neighbors in need.
AMERICAN FLAGS – Have an American Flag to be discarded? Leave it in the church office. Carroll Hospice collects them for the “Stars for our Troops” program.
♿HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT – Deer Park Lions Club loans wheelchairs, walkers, crutches canes & commodes, free of charge. Contact Deer Park Lion Ron @ 410-549-1095.
PRAYER CHAIN – A prayer chain starts when a person shares a prayer need, the request is then passed along to the group to pray over. If interested in joining the group, please see Shirley Miller.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY – A “ONE CALL NOW” message will be sent by 7:00AM Sunday morning, if worship services are cancelled or changed. You can also check the church phone 410-848-2313 for an updated message.
ONE CALL NOW – This system is used to send out prayer requests & church information. If you want to be added contact Cindy Saylor.
MEMBERSHIP -Interested in becoming a member, contact Pastor Lee or Cindy Saylor.
VIDEO CAMERA TRAINING –We need people to operate the cameras for videoing of both services. If you have an interest in helping, please see Keenan.
