Outreach
“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this
way you will fulfill the law of Christ”
(Galatians 6:2, NRSV).
Stephen Ministry
Christ caring for people through people
Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained by Stephen Leaders to offer high-quality, one-to-one Christian care to people going through tough times. A Stephen Minister usually provides care to one person at a time, meeting with that person once a week for about an hour.
You do not need to be a member of a church to ask for help. Contact pastor Jean Lee at [email protected] or contact the Deer Park Church office at 410-848-2313

Feed my Sheep
Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep…”
Members of Deer Park Church serve our Eldersburg neighbors a lunch meal at Wesley Freedom United Methodist on the fourth Thursday of every other month starting with January.
Various groups and donors help by sponsoring the purchase of the meal. Between 10am and 2pm, members and friends of Deer Park come to prepare, setup, serve and cleanup the lunch of chicken Parmesan, mixed vegetables, tossed salad, fruit, breads and desserts The breads and desserts are donated by Panera Bread, Dunkin’ Donuts, Food Lion, and Martin’s Giant stores. We give thanks for those who can help.
Donations and help are needed on the fourth Thursday of every other month.
